Earthquakes of Both the Inner and East Coast Variety
Today, this girl from Brooklyn found herself in a dark place – a place that I “Ms. Enthusiasm-&-Optimism-in-a-Glass” tend not to go. This building a new business can be stressful, and I need more help than my wonderful “brain trust” of supporters can provide. I am scared. Had a birthday yesterday. Hmm, could getting older have pushed my panic button? Doesn’t matter. Right now need to deal. So I did something super UN-Brooklyn-like, I pulled a tarot card to get insights into this week. What did I find? The Thunderbolt! Yes, that’s right and it’s not like Thor. It’s a signal that I am all shook up about my current set of circumstances. Apparently, this inner earthquake is something that is absolutely necessary for my transformation to successful entrepreneur. It is supposed to put me on the path to being a stronger better version of myself. Until then, need to deal with the destruction with detachment – almost as if it were happening to someone else. Maybe you or someone you know? As for me, I feel like the earth moving under my feet but I intend to let go. All heart (no brain) at this stage. Will you catch me if I fall? I promise to catch you in the spirit of sisterhood, of course.

As I write this I realize that some folks on the other coast were jolted literally by a California ho-hum reality: earthquakes. Shake ‘em up. Shake ‘em out. They can be tragic indeed but most are benign and are good because they are a safety valve. Thank you small quivers.
